Bishop John N. Gray

finalpicBishop John N. Gray, Sr., is the Under Shepherd and Senior Pastor of the Bethel Restoration Center located in the beautiful city of Williamsburg, VA. He is also a native of Williamsburg, VA and the oldest of twelve children.

At a young age, he moved to Richmond VA. There at the age of 21, he received the gift of the Holy Ghost. For years, he served faithfully under his former Pastor, Bishop Christal T. Hairston, Sr. After receiving the call to Pastoralship, he began his ministry in the living of his late Mother, Sis. Rose Nell Gray with 8 people. From this conception, a building for ministry was born in 1984. The edifice held approximately 150 people.

In 1998, God commanded Pastor Gray to build again and out of his obedience an edifice that seats 800 people was built and is yet progressing. Pastor Gray holds a Bachelors and Associate’s degree in Theology and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree at the Virginia Union Seminary.

Bishop Gray, under the unction of the Holy Ghost, began Life Touch Ministries where he serves as a mentor to several churches. He encourages leadership as well as practical and evoking ministry.

He is happily married to his childhood sweetheart, the former LaVerne Pressey. They have six children. He is also a grandfather; a great grandfather and a great great grandfather!! To God be the Glory!!

His desire for the people of God is that they will live wholesomely, love much, laugh often and trust God with all their hearts.
